What is Hard Tea?

Iced tea grew up.

Hard tea is brewed tea with an alcoholic kick — typically 4–5% ABV. Think of it as what happens when craft beverages and Vietnam's deep tea culture collide.

ParTea uses real brewed tea as its base — not concentrate, not artificial flavouring. The result is clean, authentic, and noticeably better than the flavoured-malt-beverage alternatives. It's lighter than beer, more interesting than seltzer, and perfectly suited for Vietnam's climate.

All three ParTea variants are 4.2% ABV, available in 330ml cans and 20L kegs. Cold delivery across Ho Chi Minh City.

Hard Tea — Your Questions Answered

What is hard tea?

Hard tea is an alcoholic version of brewed iced tea, typically fermented or produced to reach a light ABV of 4–5%. ParTea by MixTape uses real brewed tea — not concentrate or artificial flavouring — for a clean, authentic flavour. It's a refreshing alternative to beer or hard seltzer, popular across Southeast Asia.

What is Trà Vui?

Trà Vui ("happy tea") is the Vietnamese-language brand name for ParTea Black — MixTape's hard sweet black tea. It's the same product, same recipe, same 4.2% ABV. Trà Vui is re-branded for the Vietnamese market where the name resonates more naturally with local consumers.

How does ParTea compare to hard seltzer?

ParTea is brewed from real tea — which gives it genuine flavour depth, colour, and character. Hard seltzer is typically fermented sugar water with added flavouring, which gives it a thinner, more neutral taste. ParTea is a more satisfying drink with a cleaner, more interesting flavour profile.
